Syllable is an experimental audio work about the fragments of sounds in our environment, particularly words, which may have been ignored, misunderstood, or not heard at all. The composition does not focus on any one sound, but the culmination of multiple bits and pieces of words and their relationships to each other as they reconstruct themselves, some times mimicking language and at others, abstracting or mocking it.
Tech: Audio edited with Digital Performer.
Length: 4'16
